Haha in some weird way that reminds me of that movie (I don’t know if it was just TV or in the theater) about the cheerleader who gets pregnant and the whole squad robs a grocery store to get money for her with these horrible masks on. So funny…..I can’t remember the name.
This is totally the reverse, but it made me think of it…..
Jesus. They couldn’t collectively remember six characters?
glad I’m not the only one who thinks there’s something wrong with that, AUA.
“The cheerleaders put their skills to work, chanting the license number.”
Please tell me that you think this quote is freaking hilarious.
Ah, those crazy Michiganders. DCDietDiva–that movie was called Sugar & Spice. I can’t imagine it was any good. But I’m a Cheerleader, however, was pretty damn funny:
Megan: Cheers are supposed to be simple, make people feel good.
Graham: Cheers make girls do stupid cartwheels. Orgasms make people feel good.
That also sounds like the movie about the cheerleaders who witness a crime (or murder…can’t remember) and they have to go into hiding, but at the same time help the FBI/police. There’s a popular (older) actor in it but for the life of me, I can’t remember his name.
The movie is fairly new…I believe it just came out on DVD.
Oh, with Tommy Lee Jones. Gawd, that looks awful!!
“I’m sexy, I’m cute, I’m popular to boot!”
Yes, that movie! I don’t know the name of the movie though.
Tommy Lee Jones! That’s his name. Thanks, Miss Penny!
Man Of The House?
I actually did think about Sugar and Spice when I read this. And that movie is called Man of the House I think – the one with Tommy Lee Jones.
I agree AUA & I-66…can’t you chant it silently in your head without thinking of an acronym? Hha.
*Haha that is
Yay Kathryn…
“Bitching…great hair, the boys all love to stare”
“I’m sexy, I’m hot I’m everything you’re not”
And MPL:
Joel: You’re more than just a sissy. You’re nice, and clean, and smart… and sexy and firm and luscious and…
Andre: Excuse me! The last thing I need right now is some fruit who’s just proved himself straight tellin’ my ass how sexy I am!
My fave Sugar & Spice quote:
“I am tired of the fighting, the bickering, and the backstabbing. Were not acting like cheerleaders…were acting like sorority girls!!!”
I know the whole thing… I put it on a mix tape, along with Cliff’s song for Torrance, “You’re Just What I Need,” which is crazy catchy.
I’m sexy, I’m cute! I’m popular to boot!
I’m bitchin’. Great hair!
The boys all love to stare!
I’m wanted, I’m hott!
I’m everything you’re not!
I’m pretty, I’m cool!
I dominate this school!
Who am I? Just guess!
Guys wanna touch my chest!
I’m rockin’. I smile!
And many think I’m vile.
I’m flying, I jump!
You can look but don’t you hump! Whoo!
I’m major, I roar!
I swear I’m not a whore!
We cheer, and we lead!
We act like we’re on speed!
Hate us ’cause we’re beautiful? Well, we don’t like you either!
We are cheerleaders, we are cheerleaders…..ROLL CALL!
And yes, I can do the roll call too. Wha-wha-Whitney, etc.
Oh, I know the whole thing too Kathryn, don’t you worry! Haha. Maybe we can sing it together when we get drunk one night!
Wow….. that’s pretty impressive, as gay as I am I don’t know the whole thing (obviously got it wrong when I commented earlier) Kudos to you Kathryn and AM!
hmmm also… kathryn, can one download that cheer anywhere?? I think it just might make the tracklist for Beach trip round 2!
Ahhh…movies about cheerleading…always terrible yet entertaining.
As far as the news story goes…why was this even considered news. How hard is it to remember 3 letters and 3 numbers. They seriously had to make a cheer out of it and then the news channels actually had them cheer it on TV. I swear, I am increasingly concerned over what is considered news these days.
Dale, I think I got it way back when I used to use Kazaa. I’ve LONG since given that up for iTunes, but I may have the file on an old cd somewhere. I’ll look for it. Horrible quality, though.
Dale – I think you can download it lyricsdownload.com
Maybe not.
Chase–But I’m a Cheerleader is fantastic…along the lines of Drop Dead Gorgeous.
Yeah, I liked the movie, “But I’m a Cheerleade”…but it wasn’t just about a bunch of cheerleaders. It was witty, well-acted and insanely funny.
