I was in shock when I read the article. I am almost not surprised though. I am an alumna of a national sorority myself and I had sororities at my campus where all they cared about was looks. It' sad because like you said, a sorority is a place for a group of women to come together and bond over something they care about. I was lucky to have a sorority that was blended---smart girls, beautiful girls, average girls, & yes some not so great looking ones but to me they were all beautiful. Wow!
