However, it took me almost an hour to get home to my place on 16th Street... why? Because my bus had to pull over and come to a dead stop, with its engine shut off, to sit and wait for a stupid motorcade to go by! So the entire government shuts down in order to "get employees home before the storm" but W just *has* to shut down one of the busiest streets in the city?? Everyone on the bus was so mad. I did enjoy getting to leave my Federal building at 2 pm. However, it took me almost an hour to get home to my place on 16th Street… why?
