Well, I am exhausted after this weekend, but it was a lot of fun! It started out Friday with the blogger happy hour, and I saw many of my old favorites and friends - Kathryn, I-66, KassyK, Virgile Kent, Thicky, Circle V, EJ Takes Life, KOB, DCB and entourage, and many other bloggers, commenters, etc… I even got the other asian woman to come out - yay! After many had left Lucky Bar, I headed over to Play with some boys from the dirrrrty. It was cool cause I have a hook up with the DJ there, but bad that I was retarded and we waited in line for a long time even though we were on the list. Oh well. It was good once we got in though, crowded but not so packed it was annoying. We partied there for awhile and then headed home. I even discovered that me and VK have birthdays the day after each other…perhaps a joint celebration is in order! That would be some craziness…

On Saturday, I headed to Improv to see Anthony Clark perform. We started out with dinner, which I always think is good there - but, I do love Mexican food! The two opening acts were pretty funny, but Anthony Clark was great. However, he was also high as shit. Or really drunk. Or a combination. It was hard to tell if he was really fucked up, or if it was part of his act…but in either case it was still hilarious. After the show we headed to Buffalo Billiards to watch some football and play pool. Well, I pretended to play pool…I am not so good. Haha.

Sunday I was in bed most of the day, trying to ward off what I think may be a cold - but could just be really bad allergies. Since Friday night, my throat has been sore…and I thought it was just from yelling to talk at bars all night - but then it persisted into the rest of the weekend, resulting in extreme stuffiness and exhaustion. (How was that for a run-on sentence?) I was seriously sweating at Buffalo Billiards on Saturday, and yeah it was hot in there anyway - but still…I was definitely not feeling it. Sadly, I missed out on my brunch date with Siryn, but she’ll be back in October!

Oh well, a good time was had by all and now it’s back to the grind…ugh. I know I’m gonna have an extreme case of the Mondays tomorrow!

On Saturday, my company held its annual company picnic. I’m in charge of planning it, and this year was another success so I was happy. We had a s’mores pit to roast marshmallows, and a moonbounce for the kids (and adults heh). Good times!
