I’ll Take the Wingman

Oct 2, 2006 Author: Larissa | Filed under: Pop Culture, TV

I just finished watching Prison Break, and I have to say that as much as I like Wentworth Miller - the smart, sext, silently brooding resident hottie…that I also have a special place in my heart for the lesser known Lane Garrison, known as Tweener.

He’s the hot bad boy wanna be good boy who just can’t make the right decision. As much as he may have snitched in the beginning, in the end he didn’t sell out his boys AND he went to talk to the girl who did him the one good thing in his life. In the end he paid for it, but I don’t know, I think it was kinda hot…

On another note, fuck baseball…messing up all my Fox shows for three fucking weeks. Ugh.

Sad, But True

OK, so I do have one gripe about the premiere of Grey’s tonight (*warning spoiler*)…

I’m mad that McDreamy came in, said that big thing about how he loves her and now she has “choices to make” and then walks out. OK, so he gets to be an ass…first by lying about being married, then by making HER wait, then choosing Addison, and then NOW he’s ready and telling her he loves her. And she’s supposed to what, run to him and be like, “Oh, Derek, finally!”

Um, false.

Meredith, as much as I love her even while she’s ugly, dark, and twisted…(and hot too even with her half lidded gaze)…get it together. STOP.
You know Derek is bad for you, and what’s-his-name Chris O’Donnell’s character even said so himself. But, yet - you hesitate, and you consider. Even through flashbacks of your own mother’s pain and sorrow when love failed her as well.

Ah, but the reason women everywhere relate…we all have a bad boy that we love to hate. There’s always that one (or string of them) that you just can’t get away from. Sure you eventually snap out of it and get over it, settle down and finally be happy. But before you give up the game, then it’s the nice boys, like the Denny’s in the world…that miss us, pass us by, and end up leaving us. Leaving us to our own devices with all the McDreamy’s out there. But damn if it isn’t one hell of a ride.
